Prairie Haven serves adults in Regina and the surrounding area. You can refer yourself or be referred by another provider — both are welcome, and neither is required to be seen.
What we offer
Six ways people come to us
Format and appointment length are set per visit type. If you book a virtual visit and it turns out to need an in-person examination, the office will tell you before the appointment, not after.
Meet & greet / new patient intake
A first appointment to talk through your history, what you need, and whether this practice is the right fit, before anything else is decided.
Ongoing primary care
Attachment for everyday health — same-day and ongoing concerns, chronic condition management, prescriptions and renewals, lab work and referrals.
Women's health
Screening and Pap tests, contraception counselling, perimenopause and menopause. More services to list.
Palliative & end-of-life care
Care aimed at comfort, symptom relief and quality of life alongside a serious illness. It can run for months or years, and it can run at the same time as treatment aimed at the illness itself. People often come to it far later than they needed to.
Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD)
Held until we have checked this wording against the CRNS MAiD guideline. Draft: “Yes. We assess for and provide medical assistance in dying, and we are willing to talk about it with you if it is something you are asking about. We will not raise it with you first — that conversation belongs to you.”
Forms & third-party medicals
SGI, insurance paperwork, driver medicals, and other third-party requests. These are not covered by public health insurance — the fee is quoted before the work is done.

How a MAiD request starts in Saskatchewan

Cost
Do I have to pay to see you?
Held until our billing status is confirmed. Either medically necessary care is publicly funded and you pay nothing for it, or some visits are privately billed and we tell you the fee before you book. We will publish whichever is true — not both.
Some visits are not covered by public health insurance regardless of contract status — insurance paperwork, driver medicals, and certain third-party requests. Those are billed to you directly, quoted before the work is done, and payment is taken in the clinic. Form fees — we will either publish them here or quote on request.
